Natalie Howell

Natalie Howell is a freshman from Charlotte, NC. As a Presidential Scholar for Theatre, Natalie has substantial experience in theatre arts. In her senior year of high school, Natalie won the outstanding achievement in acting award for her role as Great in Dark Road at NCTC. Recently, Natalie has helped behind the scenes for Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom and played Mrs. Dashwood in Kate Hamill's Sense and Sensibility. Natalie is also a member of AAP.

Abby Parr

Abby is a sophomore from Newburyport, Massachusetts, majoring in Theatre with a minor in Psychology. Previously at Wake, she has acted in Julius Caesar, served as ASM for The Backstory and Turning 15 On The Road To Freedom, and performed in the 24 Hour Musical production of Seussical. Some of her favorite high school productions were Clue (Mrs. White), Metamorphoses (Ceres), Annie (Annie), and Big Fish (Josephine). She also performed with local theatre company Theater in the Open. Abby also sings and has played piano for ten years.

Mary Caroline (MC) Kolar

Mary Caroline Kolar (MC) is a freshman from Orlando, FL and has been performing her whole life. MC is honored to be a Presidential Scholarship recipient for Theatre here at Wake Forest. She is also currently in the award winning a cappella group The Demon Divas, the Momentum Hip Hop crew, and is a proud member of Anthony Aston Players. Her favorite credits include Olive in AAP’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Campbell in Bring it On, Katherine in Newsies, and Rusty in Footloose. She is so grateful in her recognition as Outstanding Dancer (2023 Applause Awards) and Outstanding Actor and Singer (2022 Applause Awards) as well as recently winning Best Choreographer in the 2024 South ICCA A Capella Competition.

Alexandra Battisti

Alexandra Battisti is a senior from right outside of Philadelphia, PA. She is a member of the Anthony Aston Players and the Lilting Banshees Comedy Troupe. Most recently, she played Janet McKenzie in Witness For the Prosecution and Old Shady in Men on Boats. She has worked on the set of Netflix's Outer Banks for the past two seasons as a production assistant, and she would love to get some more experience on camera before joining the entertainment industry after graduation.

Charli Head is a sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina. She went to Northwest School of the Arts high school with a major in Musical Theatre. Charli is a Presidential Scholar for Theatre and is a member of the Lilting Banshee Comedy Troupe. Most recently at Wake Forest, she was Greta in A Witness to the Prosecution. She is a Psychology major with a minor in Theatre.

Patrick Fenlon

Patrick Fenlon is a junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has acted extensively in his 3 years at wake. Some of what he has done at Wake Forest includes John Willoughby in Sense & Sensibility, Peter Shaw in Silent Sky, Vershinin in the Three Sisters, Decius in Julius Caesar, and has performed in the sketch comedy show LaughTracks twice. In the summer of 2024 he attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting Summer Conservatory where he worked on his all around acting skills for 10 weeks including taking a film/tv acting class during this time.

Ellie Hartman

Ellie Hartman is a senior from the Chicago area. She has acted in theatre productions all throughout high school. She is a theatre minor at Wake and has a particular interest in film/on-camera acting.

Frances Gray Riggs

Frances Gray Riggs is a Senior at Wake Forest University. She is double majoring in English and Theatre with a minor in Creative Writing. She has performed She Loves Me, This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing, BackStory, Seussical: The 24 hour Musical, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! She was also a part of silly, silly LaughTracks last spring. Contact her for a resume.

Hannah Reynolds

Hannah Reynolds is a sophomore from Hastings, Nebraska. She is a Presidential Scholar in Theatre, and is double majoring in Critical and Creative Media and Theatre. Most recently, Hannah helped with sound design for AZAD. At Wake Forest, she has played a Juror in Witness For The Prosecution, Inspector Bertozzo in Accidental Death Of An Anarchist, and was the assistant stage manager for Silent Sky. In high school, she played Matilda in Matilda the Musical and Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, among many other roles.

Callise Young

Callise Young is a sophomore from Matthews, North Carolina, and became more involved with theatre in high school. Prior to Wake Forest, she has done light operations for Little Shop of Horrors, and played Agent Branton in Catch Me If You Can. Recently, she has played a number of characters in Laughtracks, and is set to perform in the ensemble for Urinetown. Alongside theatre, she is an active member of the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black.

Gertie Vance

Gertie Vance is a freshman from Columbia, Maryland. She is a presidential scholar in theatre and has been acting since middle school. At Wake Forest you may have seen her as Miss. Clegg in Witness for the Prosecution, as Margaret Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility, and soon in Urinetown too. She is also a member of the Anthony Aston Players and served as props master for their show The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

MaryAnna Bailey

MaryAnna is a Junior from Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and a proud member of AAP! She is a Presidential Scholar in Theatre and a William Louis Poteat Scholar majoring in Integrated Strategies of Communication with minors in Theatre and Marketing. An experienced dancer, MaryAnna was previously a member of the Dazzlin’ Deacs dance team and continues her love of dance through the theatre. MaryAnna has performed in Three Sisters, Legally Blonde, and Seussical and worked at Myrtle Beach’s Lakewood Camping Resort with High Steppin’ Country over the summer! She also has experience working as the assistant lighting designer for Witness for the Prosecution, and most recently stage-managed AAP’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Ziqi Huang

Ziqi Huang (Nancy) is a freshman from China, Anhui, and has done many musicals and classic plays through high school. She enjoys creative work and has been involved in theater and Arts for many years. Most recently, she played the women juror in The Witness of the Prosecution and Lady Middleton in Sense and Sensibility. She was also involved in the senior film project.
