"The most elegant proofs... proofs like music."

This semester we faced a big opportunity, married with a challenge: How do we return to theatre in person? November 11-13, we proved that we could. Directed by student director Cameron Michles, AAP reinstated its annual tradition of putting on its own production, this year in the form of David Auburn's Proof, a family drama that touches on familial relationships, mental health, and the challenges of working in academia. Selling out online tickets three nights in a row, Proof showed us that a love for theatre still exists in a community weathered by the pandemic, while functioning as a creative outlet for actors and designers to flex their creative muscles.
